If the thought of wearing slippers all day gets you excited, we have a job role that could be right up your street.

A nightwear company is looking for a man and a woman to be official “Slipper Testers” to try out its latest designs.

And they’re looking to pay the lucky candidate £40,000 (pro-rata) for the opportunity – it’s the dream!

Bedroom Athletics says the role is the “Cinderella of the job market” and is the perfect lockdown job for anyone who spends a lot of time at home – from a student to a part-time worker, or a stay-at-home parent.

So, how do you go about applying for this exciting role?

Well, the first thing you’ll need to do is to head over to the Bedroom Athletics website and say why you’re the perfect person for the job.

Candidates must be able to wear slippers for at least 12 hours a day for two days of the month to test out and give extensive feedback on all things slippers, loungewear and homeware.

The company, of Chepstow, Gwent, say the position pays £333-a-month for two days work – which is the equivalent of £40,000-a-year.

Bedroom Athletics founder Howard Wetter said: “With the two new slipper testers on-board we’ll be in an even better position to provide the UK’s working from home work-force with second-to-none quality slippers.
